Candy Toy Report ~June Edition~

Hello Everybody! okniwy here!

Is it the 20th yet? No. Did Bandai's candy toy website update anyway? Yes! Wait... Oh! This is a new Blog! That's good. Good. So, let's get down to bisiness and have a look at the new stuff.

Maximum Super-union Revolcarry

Hey look! The Revolcarr... Wait. They did this one before. It doesn't claim to be a re-release, what's different? hold on, it that AccelGunner in the first kit? With... Shoutaro? Indeed, while the parts to the Revolcarry (and three out of the four vehicles) are identical to the first edition, all the figures and the HardBoilder in normal mode have been replace by new additions.

  • As stated, Set A now comes with AccelGunner and Shoutaro "Halfboiled" Hidari
  • Set B now comes with CycloneJoker Extreme. (Prismy...)
  • Set C comes with Raito "Phillip" Sonozaki.(Is that even a spoiler?)
  • And set D comes with... Trial Accel. Like he needs a bike.
Remember, the Revolcarry is a beast even when shrunk down and split into four, so each set will retail for ¥ 399 after tax. Out in Japan late July.

EX Goseiger Sound Gosei Headder

Big item here. A new assortment of Sound Gosei Headders, featuring ones used by Gosei Knight. Sadly, my grasp of Japanese is paltry, so I coudn't begin to tell you what those flashes of red in each frame say, much less what sound the Headders make when you press their buttons. (Although I might be right in saying that The Grandion headder has 10 different sounds.) Of all the items in this report, this is the most likely to grace the shelves of CSToys.
These decend on Japan in late July for
¥ 399 after tax at retail, Which I predict will put them in the store early August for ¥ 500 and ¥ 1000, depending on how many of each are in a box.

Talking Fairy Chypre & Coffret

Taking a break and going to that timeslot after Double, we find ourselves in a land of cute with the mascot fairies for the show Heartcatch Precure. Ah, Precure. The only magical girl show on the air where fisticuffs are commonplace and a magical attack means running through an enemy as a beam of light... Oh, the product. Each one is a incredibly cute plush that say things when you squeeze them.

  • Chypre is associated with Cure Blossom, and gives advice the way an older sister would.
  • Coffret is partnered with Cure Marine, and acts like a younger brother.
These balls of fluff will be in the homes of young Japanese girls as soon as early July, after passing by a register for ¥ 525 after tax.

Goseiger Gyro on Dash!

Fulfilling our "Awesome but unneeded product" quota this month is this set from Goseiger. each kit comes with three parts; A gyroscopic top that has the upper torso of a Goseiger, which can nestle in an included rolling Gosei Machine. (The third item is the ripcord, not shown.) Now, what gets me is this: Look at kit 3. Do you see it? It's Gosei Knight... On top of Grandion. It, it just should not be.
This time-space reach-around sets up mid-July for
¥ 315, after tax of course.

Well its been fun, but that's everything relevent this month. See you again as soon as Bandai candy toy updates. I'll send you off with a "WTF" product; no name, no info, just a picture.
