Farewell Shunsuke Ikeda

One of Tokusatsu greatest heroes have passed away in Japan, Shunsuke Ikeda. He passed away on June 10, 2010 at 3 in the afternoon. Ikeda was suffering with complication with his long battle with diabetes. Continue to read more for an interview of him about his role of Kikaider.

He was best known for his role as Ichiro/Kikaider 01 that aired in the early 70s with a total of 46 episodes. He also appeared in the Ultraman series in the Return of Ultraman as a Monster Attack Team officer, Takeshi Minami. He repriesed that role in 2006 with Ultraman Moebius and the Ultra Brothers. Ikeda was only 68 years old. He will be missed and rest in peace Shunsuke Ikeda.
