Interlesting Engrlish #1

Hello Everybody! okniwy here!

Did Bandai update their candy toy website? No. Am I doing Gashapon toys now? No, that's next week. This week is a bit less content heavy.
(Yes, expect me once a week, just like the columnists at Cracked, but with less profanity and more Japanese children's entertainment.)

What editions of "Interlesting Engrlish" will bring to the table is just above the prescribed dose of the English language mangled by those who speak phonetically incompatible languages, including Japanese. It also gives me an excuse to copy-paste most of the article's content. (Though it's looking 50/50 this time around...)

This specific edition is less cringe inducing, a warm-up if you will. What we have here are the synopsis' for the four shows that make up TV Asahi's Sunday morning children's programming block. Where did I get them? That's the interesting thing, they came from Bandai of Japan's website for English speaking investors. What's amazing is that it's halfway decent, just some problems with punctuation and intergrating entirely Japanese phrases.

I've been rambling long enough here's all of them in order of timeslot.

Battle Spirits: Shonen Gekiha Dan
"Dan Bashin is a card battler who dreams of being victorious in a “Battle Spirits” trading card game tournament.
One day, after following a mysterious girl he meets at a championship, he is suddenly thrust into an alternate world known as “Grand Rolo,” which is controlled by a king. In this world, Battle Spirits card battles are the highest form of combat. With his inherent sense of justice, Dan is thrilled to see the spirits he summons actually come to life in intense card battles! As he adventures through 6 worlds with other boys known as the “Core of HIKARINUSHI,” who were gathered in this alternate dimension, fierce battles with enemies set forth by the king of Grand Rolo await him. Who will defeat the king and claim his throne?!"

Tensou Sentai Goseiger

"Goseitenshi have protected Earth from numerous threats since the days of yore. They have protected humankind using a mysterious power called Tensoujutsu One day during the year 2010, evil enemies plotting to invade Earth emerge from the shadows. Five young Goseitenshi rise up to protect Earth from the imminent threat. With their Gosei Card and reliable Gosei Headder as weapons, the Goseitenshi take on the sinister enemies!"

KAMEN RIDER DOUBLE

"The memories of Earth’s people are sealed in USB drives called “GAIAMEMORIES.” The city is in upheaval as villains use these GAIAMEMORIES to transform into powerful beings and commit heinous crimes. Private detective Shotaro Hidari and his partner, Philip, use GAIAMEMORY to combine into the hero known as “KAMEN RIDER DOUBLE.”
KAMEN RIDER DOUBLE can combine two GAIAMEMORIES to transform into a variety of forms for ever-changing evil-fighting action! Villains beware! KAMEN RIDER DOUBLE will do whatever it takes to protect the city from evil!
"

Heartcatch Pretty Cure!
"Tsubomi Hanasaki is a second year junior high school student who loves flowers and plants. One day, she has a mysterious dream where a Pretty Cure is defeated by an enemy in front of the Great Heart Tree. She watches as sprites take flight from the barren tree after all of its beautiful flowers have fallen to the ground.
To her surprise, the sprites from Tsubomi’s dream appear before her in real-life. “Become the legendary warrior, Pretty Cure,” they beg. “Let your Heart Flower bloom to save the Great Heart Tree—the very source of human hearts—from dying!” Tsubomi refuses at first, believing that she didn’t have what it takes, but changes her mind when an enemy attacks her classmate Erika and steals her Heart Flower.
The only way to save Erika’s heart is to become a Pretty Cure and fight!
Tsubomi gathers her courage and transforms into a Pretty Cure!
"

Told you it was well done. I have some more stuff, but we need to save something for next time. Wait... this wasn't all that funny. Don't worry once we start getting to the point where I gratuitously use Google translate (#3), it will get hilarious.

'Tirl next time,
Goodb
ye Everybody!
