Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider OOO & W feat. Skull Theme sang by Koji Kikkawa & Maki Ohguro

A great news for everyone. Koji Kikkawa who played Narumi Soukuchi a.k.a Kamen Rider Skull in the upcoming movie Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider OOO & W feat. Skull Movie War Core, will be singing the theme song of the movie together with OOO's opening theme singer, Maki Ohguro. For now, we only know that the song will be released in December 15. As for the title, it is still unknown yet.
So, do watch out for more updates on this! ^_^

Kamen Rider OOO & Double, the theme song is 'Koji Kikkawa × Maki Ohguro'

Is this the ultimate rock collaboration!? It's been decided that Koji Kikkawa and Maki Ohguro will together make the theme song. Together they've formed a temporary unit. The lyrics will be written by Maki, while Koji composes the song. Together they'll be the Double vocals for this movie that premieres the 18th December. This will be the ultimate collaboration, with Koji that also plays Kamen Rider Skull and Maki who made the opening for Kamen Rider OOO.

Maki said that before she made her debut, she had wanted to become an artist like Koji Kikkawa. (Maki debuted 1989, while Koji Kikkawa debuted 1984 with the song Monica.) She also said "I am literally dancing from joy to be able to sing with Koji Kikkawa."

Koji Kikkawa said that he's liked Maki's songs before this was decided and feels like he's able to study a womans heart through this collaboration. They both seem to have a mutual trust and respect for each other.

KAMEN RIDER OOO's first pure form finally debutted in EPISODE 6:"Fashion, a Contract, and the Strongest Combo"!
The medals that are needed for this Formation are, Kuwagata(Stag Beetle) Medal, Kamakiri(Mantis) Medal and Batta(Grasshopper) Medal. A video of the battle scene has been uploaded on Youtube.

Premiers Saturday, December 18, 2010. Kamen Rider heads to the center of the Earth, the Core. Movie Wars gets a Super Power Up.

Last Autumn, Kamen Rider W was produced as the "First Rider work for the next 10 years", as part of the Kamen Rider 10th Anniversary Project. 

In December 2010, these two big riders will unite to bring us a grand Movie Taisen. Moreover, Kamen Rider Skull, who appeared in last year's "Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Double and Decade Movie Taisen 2010" (and A to Z) appears again. Koji Kikkawa returns once again to play Narumi Soukichi and this time, we learn of the story that could be called "Skull's Begins Night."

On the other hand, a new Kamen Rider appears in the chapter of OOO. Additionaly, something that cannot be overlooked, the mummy of Oda Nobunaga is resurrected through the powers of the O-Medals! Also, this Movie Great war gives us the first ever "Center (Core) of the Earth Rider."

OOO and W must join together to fight the giant Kamen Rider Core (first CG enemy rider). A surprise will take the screen, and a triple combo will come to your heart, one after another.

STORY:

Kamen Rider Double feat. Skull
Akiko is having Marriage Blues over her wedding with Ryu. Shotaro and Philip head off to fight the Pteranodon Yummy, who has the powers of the Memory Memory. The memory allows them to catch a glimpse of Narumi's past. The story is the first time a Dopant appeared in Fuuto. Just how did Narumi become Skull?! This hardboiled mystery is finally revealed...

Kamen Rider OOO Nobunaga no Yokubou (Nobunaga's Desire)
A body wearing armor, Oda Nobunaga's mummy, is discovered. Kougami begins a revival experiment and turns the mummy into a "Homunculus" (A Kaizoningen/Android), called Nobunaga. Eiji meets him, and realizes he is troubled. Nobunaga mind is filled with the desire for revenge. Nobunaga must reconcile his "2 hearts."

Movie Taisen CORE
The huge Kamen Rider, with a frightening energy body, using the memories of past Kamen Riders appears. He introduces himself as "Kamen Rider Core" and begins to use his hateful power.

To stop this power, Double Riders face off agains the Core of the Earth. W and OOO begin a fierce fight against Core, and his overwhelming might, and rush right into the Earth's magma. There, Core's true power source exists...

Figma: Kamen Rider Wing Knight [Max Factory]

So a couple a days ago this Figma was put up for pre-order on many online sites and man I was so glad! I was glad because I didn't put my pre-order in for Figma Dragon Knight and now I can kill two birds with 1 stone. Kamen Rider Wing Knight Figma is planned to be released some time in late December for a retail price of 3050yen, while Dragon Knight will be released a month prior. So since both are coming out near the Holidays these will be great gifts for fans and loved ones. Being that it's a Figma you can pose Wing Knight in any number of poses from the show, using aspecial soft materials for certain parts amazing Kamen Rider-style action poses can be created without compromising the style or proportions of the figure! Including to this the figure comes with Knight Visor, Blackwing Cape, Knight Lance, 10 different option hands and a figma stand! Hopefully for those who buy these Dragon/ Wing Knight Figmas, the other Riders from the show will be made too so we won't have to wait for the Figuarts of Ryuki. Anyways down below there are more pics of the figure!

[Max Factory] Figma Kamen Rider Dragon Knight

Like usual, I'm on the net searching for stuff to share with you guys. Eventually, it lead me to this. A figma Kamen Rider?! Not the usual ones, it's Dragon Knight we're talking about here. From the American produced "Kamen Rider Dragon Knight" comes a figma of the main character, Kit Taylor, transformed into his Dragon Knight form!

Using the smooth yet poseable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes. Various body parts have been produced with the help of special flexible plastic, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability! Posing Kamen Rider in action scenes is as simple as ever!

A selection of weapons are included and can be equipped, allowing various battle scenes to be recreated. A total of ten optional hands are included, which includes an Advent Card-holding hand. A poseable figma stand is included, which allows you to pose him in a number of different ways!

Personal thoughts on Kamen Rider Dragon Knight:
People keep saying that most tokusatsu remakes turn out a failure, but those people are wrong. Besides the hit kid's TV series, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Kamen Rider Dragon Knight is a hit and proves to be better than the original counterpart, Kamen Rider Ryuki. Why I say so? It's the storyline that attracts me. Unlike Kamen Rider Ryuki, Kamen Rider Dragon Knight had a better finale. Action wise it was good too. I know that there are some tokusatsu remake haters out there, but it's better you try out the show before you hate something (unless it's for a good reason).

Now, back to our main topic, the figma! This figma will be produced by Medicom Toy. It'll be released End of November. It'll cost about 3048yen (tax included). The size of the figure is approximately 140 mm in range. Made out of ABS and PVC materials.

So, overall the figma is really show accurate. The body proportion is well molded too. None of the details ae lacking. And for paintjob, I can say it's nice. But it's up to you to decide, whether you want it or not. :P

A new line of Figures developed similar to the articulations of S.H.Figuarts and the next generation three-dimentional digital characters. It is about 140mm wide with various range of movements of the body, to recreate a persuing action.(The definition of D-arts)

Kamen Rider OOO Pure form Sounds

Like usual, I'm always checking the net around for more interesting stuff to share. So, bump into Jefusion post about the pure forms sounds. Gekidan found an interesting video regarding all Kamen Rider OOO base and pure forms sound clips available on the OOODriver's Medal Scanner. This even revealed two more medal groups in addition to the four Greeeds.

I was sufing around the net, searching for more scans of Kamen Rider OOO. I've seen several combos like the Cat type medals such as the Shishi, Cheetah and the Insect type medals such as Kuwagata and Kamakiri. And we've seen all the type of the Greeeds. Currently, OOO's have medals from 3 type, that is the Bird, Cats and Insects. But there's another set of core medals owned by OOO. It is the grey greeeds(which I assumed is the beast type). Like the above picture, that is a Combo we haven't  actually see.

The origins of the allies of Ultraman Zero!!

The upcoming Ultra series movie, Ultraman Zero the movie has already 3 cool allies that will be appearing in the movie. And most of you guys have seen the info of the allies in previous posts I've made. But, the longer I look at then, the longer they made me feel like Dejavu of Showa tokusatsu series. Hmm.. What make me feels like that??
Before I head to my investigation report, here's a little brief on how Ultraman Zero met them.
Along his journey in the film, Ultraman Zero will come across several allies. One is Glenfire (グレンファイアー, Gurenfaiā), a free spirited warrior with a soul of burning magma from the Planet of Flames (炎の星, Honō no Hoshi). The other is Mirror Knight (ミラーナイト, Mirā Naito), a being from the 2-D Planet of Mirrors (鏡の星, Kagami no Hoshi) who was originally charged with the duty to protect Planet Esmeralda from the attacks of Kaiser Belial. In addition to these living allies, Ultraman Zero meets the Jean-bird (ジャンバード, Janbādo), a spaceship with artificial intelligence from Planet Esmeralda that is passed down through the planet's royal family. It can transform into a humanoid robot that Nao can control called the Jean-bot (ジャンボット, Janbotto) by shouting "Jean Fight!" (ジャンファイト！, Jan Faito!).
OK! Here are the results and evidence of my investigation!! YES! They're design originate from Tsubaraya's previous sci-fi heroes!!
First off!

 Glenn Fire! The guy with fiery flame powers. The power we called Pyrokinesis. He is actually a remake of the Showa Fireman. Not fireman that puts out fire, but breathes more fire!!  Both were said to be origin of the same planet. So, here's the plot for the original Fireman series.
The strange phenomenon happened in many parts of the world, and the dinosaur appeared as a great monster. People in the Aban continent, buried under the soil 11,500 years ago sent a courageous young man Misakey to the ground as an archeologist and SAF agent Daisuke Misaki . When the monster and the space alien who attacked the human race appeared, Misaki transformed to Fireman by the fire-stick, and fought with them .

Mirror Knight now here has a similarity to Mirrorman! Another warrior who also came from a 2D dimension world. They even had a remake of Mirrorman. In 2005, this somewhat came true in Mirrorman REFLEX, a straight-to-DVD series that would be later compiled into a film. Featuring no characters or connection to the old series, REFLEX has a darker tone on par with the television series. Even thought they have the same name, Mirrorman Reflex wasn't that similar to the original Mirrorman.
Here's the Plot of the original Mirrorman.

In 1980s, an evil alien race known simply as the Invaders are about to take over the Earth, using assorted daikaiju (giant monsters) and other fiendish plots. The only force that can cope with this threat is a patrol team called the Science Guard Members (SGM). But another hope comes from someone with a force from the unknown. Professor Mitarai, the leader of SGM, finally shares a secret with his foster son/newspaper photographer Kyôtarô Kagami ("kagami" = Japanese for "mirror"), a secret only he himself knows: Kyôtarô is actually the son of Mirrorman, an alien superhero from the 2nd Dimension, and his mother was human.
However, Mirrorman was defeated by the Invaders' toughest monster King Ziger (explained in Episode 14), but his son Kyôtarô survived, and shares the same powers as the first Mirrorman. Naturally, the young man had difficulty accepting his destiny, but he realizes that he is the only one who can save the Earth from the Invaders, especially after they tried to break into his home and attack his friends. To transform into Mirrorman, he must stand in front of a reflective object (mirrors, water, etc.) and flash his Mirror-Pendant, thus transforming him.

Jean-Bird(Jean is pronounce as Jan in Japanese) or another name, Jean-bot here resembles Jumborg Ace! Another Tsubaraya production hero like the 2 warrior mentioned above. Unlike Jumborg Ace, Jean-bot has no human controller instead it has an A.I. that has a purpose to fight for Justice.
Here's the plot for Jumborg Ace series.
 Young air delivery boy Naoki Tachibana is out to deliver a package for his grumpy boss Daisaku Banno, when his older brother Shin'ya, who commanded the defense force, Protective Attacking Team (PAT), was killed in an attack by a giant monster called King Jyglus (which was sent by the evil alien Antigone of the planet Groth). When PAT retaliates against a second attack by the monster, Naoki, in retaliation for his brother's death, suicidally tries to ram his air delivery cessna into the monster, to their shock. When the monster downs the plane, Naoki and his plane are teleported into an energy dimension by an Ultraman-like alien from the Emerald Star. The Emerald Alien has instantly used his technology to completely modify the plane, as well as Naoki's wristwatch. He suddenly finds himself back in his cessna's cockpit in the real world, but he hears the Emerald Alien's voice, telling him to activate his wristwatch, and upon shouting the command "Jum-Fight!!!", his jet transforms into the giant cyborg, Jumborg Ace, with Naoki, in a VR movement-control suit, piloting the robot from inside the head with his own physical movements! He fights with King Jyglas, eventually destroying the monster. But his battle against the Groth Aliens has only just begun . . .
Later episodes find Naoki alternating from Jumborg Ace with a Honda Z, (Not to be confused with the vehicle) which transforms into a similar giant cyborg called Jumborg 9 (upon the command "Jum-Fight Two Dash!!!").

So, that's the info of the origins on the 3 allies of Ultraman Zero. ^_^
