Awhile back I found a video on Youtube video of a "tournament-like" showdown called, "Warrior Showdown" presented by Swordplay Stage Combat. Here is some info about the tournament:
About the Class:
Every session I like to do something fresh to keep my students engaged and to push them to the next level. We train and study the art of staged violence for theatre, film, television, and live performances. Most of my students are actors, but several of them use the class as an alternative form of exercise or just like playing with weapons.
About the Tournament:
For this session, I wanted to do something really challenging and unique. A fighting tournament, fully choreographed and rehearsed to perfection, featuring some of the most dynamic warrior achetypes of all time. Have you ever asked yourself, "Who would win between a NINJA and a PIRATE?" or "a KNIGHT and a SAMURAI?"
We had a lot of fun answering those questions.
In this tournament, Alex Heartman wields the double swords of the Assassin.
FUN FACT: As you can see in the second video, Alex is facing off against a SAMURAI! Ironic much?
