The Ultra-act TALK OFF!

The Ultra-act started it's production line in commemorative of the "Ultra Legend Galaxy Movie" which was the best Ultra Movie ever(in my own opinion). After a few releases of the main characters from the movie, the Tamashii web page decide to review the playability and diorama suggestions for the Ultra-act.
Bandai's first glorious Ultraman Action figure lines debuted about months ago. Most of us thought that it was released as S.H.Figuarts. When it was announced in previous Tamashii events, we were introduced to a new generation of action figure, the ULTRA-ACT!

The great gimmick about is that it can remake the action scene of your favorite heroes(like all action figure do). The characters were meant to represent a pursuing humanoid act that is based on the owner's likeness.
So, Check out a few poses shot of the Ultra-act.
The main attraction of the Ultra-act line was Ultraman Zero. Being the one of the main characters in the movie, his role is the greatest asset that boost up the epicness of the movie. Unlike any other Ultra-act, this figure has a shoulder pad(that is somehow similar to Kamen Riders of the S.H.Figuarts). But that won't spoil the poseability of the figure. The shoulder pad were said to be made of a soft material that won't break even if you put at an angle that may cause breakage. The body of the Ultra-act compose of three main parts. The chest, lumbar and the waist. It enable the figure to make several subtle twist.

The villainous Ultraman Belial was released right after the released of Ultraman(or rather known as Ultraman Hayate). Belial being an evil villain had really sharp claws. That's why they decided to put articulation joints on the fingers instead of the usual hand swapping poseability. Belial also has jaw articulation to open his mouth and make evil grins. Bandai's aim when creating the design of Belial is to show the wickedness and the evil behaviors of Ultraman Belial.

The Ultra-acts are basically meant for cool and epic dioramas. Cool and special accessories were added to enhanced the poses into a cool fighting scene. That's the gimmicks of the accessories which is mostly included in every box of Ultra-act.
For example, Ultraman Zero came with his signature item, the Zero Slugger. Ultraman Belial also had accessories such as his signature item, the Giga Battlenizer.
Check out the enhanced poses of the Ultra-acts.
As you can see, the Ultra-act Ultraman Zero has a head swap gimmick in order for him to look as if the Zero sluggers can be detached from his head. As for the Zero Slugger, it can be made as a hand held combat blade. Besides that, the Zero Slugger is able to be attached on the color timer to do the Zero Twin shoot, one of the moves of Ultraman Zero. The Ultra-act itself also come with another weapon, the Zero Twin sword where the Zero sluggers turned into a crescent-shaped blade using the Plasma Spark's energy.

As for our villainous buddy over here, he came with the GIGA BATTLENIZER! With the Giga Battlenizer, Ultraman Belial can be putted into various signature poses such as the famous evil laugh looking up high. The accessories also came with additional effects to be added on the Giga Battlenizer in order to make Ultraman Belial to look like he is making an attact towards his enemies.

To get more fun out of them, Tamashii had taken several shots of cool acted scene for the Ultra-acts. These images are suggestions of poses to those who owned both Ultraman Zero and Ultraman Belial.
So, CHECK IT OUT!
