Anything Goes with Pianos

The ultra-talented minadukiryou of YouTube has released his composition of "Anything Goes" the opening of Kamen Rider OOO. He was definitely incredibly fast to figure out all of the notes for the song and it sometimes leaves me speechless. As a fellow pianist he is out of my league... Anyway you can visit his channel to view all of his amazing renditions of songs. Oh and I see he just had let out his boxers, I have feeling a new trend is coming...

Eternal on stage

What's this? Kamen Rider Eternal is on stage rocking it out? Yes it is, Singer/Actor Matsuoka Mitsuru also known in the new Kamen Rider movie as Katsumi Daido played in concert in the US. That's right in America playing at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles well known as the venue for the Academy Awards. SOPHIA was invited to the Anime Expo 2010 which they obviously accepted and made their debut on July 3rd, 2010. At the Expo SOPHIA played the yet to be released song "W" answering the encore of the audience, which SOPHIA has been known not to answer encores. Apparently as the encore song was going to be played the stage faded out and faded back in with no longer Matsuoka Mitsuru but Kamen Rider Eternal. Giving much fan service with kicks and action allowing the show to reach its peak of raging fandom. After the spectacular event SOPHIA went off stage and met with fans talking, signing autographs and posed. While speaking to fans, he was anxious into discussing japanese culture and music, but he was delighted to being able to introduce Kamen Rider, a symbol of Japan. Thanks to Google for the rough translation. For more images click read more.

Also included in the DVD is a talk show with the main characters of the series. We will try to locate the other performances but in the mean time you can purchase the DVD from a Middleman or from a Japanese entertainment web store.

A to Z Movie Song news

SOPHIA松岡充、闘病中の都啓一と劇場版『仮面ライダーW』主題歌を制作
Singer/Actor Matsuoka Mitsuru, known in the new Kamen Rider Movie as Katsumi Daido or Kamen Rider Eternal, will be singing a theme song for the movie. It will also be co-produced by SOPHIA band member Keiichi Miyako who is currently taking medical treatment for follicular lymphoma (a type of cancer). It will be titled "W" releasing this August 11, 2010. Supposedly the song is to sound inspirational and meaningful from what article reports. In addition the song is completely written and sung by Matsuoka; which in fact deviates from Shoko Fujibayashi doing the writing from previous songs in the past.
