DX Gosei Ultimate

Take a good look at it guys, you've seen the show scans of it and now here is the toy version. Anyway the DX Gosei Ultimate is set to hit store shelves on October 2nd, 2010 and will be packaged with the miracle headers. October 2nd falls on a Saturday so expect to see the toy to arrive at CSToys HQ on Friday's show.

Hello everybody! okniwy here with an avalanche of candy toys!

Kamen Rider OOO is so close now! Plus, CS Toys is going to Power Morphicon! A lot of exciting things are happening!

But the Free Candy Toy Promotion isn't doing so hot. So far, only 9 points have been collected, and that won't get a single entry. I really want CS Toys to win, but without the points there is no chance, and there are no points without you. So to help make it easier to participate, Ryokuya helped by drawing up a new participation form, so it's even easier to enter!

The Candy Toy Report Presents: Mugenbine Revival!

Hello Everybody! okniwy here, and it's time to evolve without limit!

Previously, on The Candy Toy Report:

Mugenbine: Evolution Union Evobine
 Price: ¥ 315 after tax  Release: Late August

 After a six month hiatus, Mugenbine returns! Five new figures evolve from egg to young creature to adult! All five combine into a Mugen General! But sadly I don't have any official names...

 After three weeks, we have confirmation on this new series of Mugenbine! New gimmicks, new plot(yes there was a plot), new possibilities! 

Evolve! Evobine!
The new series gimmick is evolution. While infinite combination is literally the name of the game here, each set has three official modes. Through Shinka Henshin, each one transforms from the egg like Standby Mode, to the semi-developed Attack Mode, and then a fully evolved mode, which in this set is called Burning Mode. Story-wise, while in Standby Mode, they are immobile and need a human partner to carry them around.

Gaia Memory leakage...

Ryokuya here posting to you on mobile and I got to say it is hard. Anyway let's cut to the chase. It seems that the last batch of Gaia Memories have broken street dates and are in the hands of some people. The new memories are now moulded with glittery plastic, with the stickers being holographic transitioning between two images when looked in different ways. They display a rider or the symbol of the rider. Now what's different compared with the older rider memories? Most of all why is OOO missing?

More Finger Puppets!

I am a huge fan of the tokusatsu finger puppets. My first 2 were Kamen Rider IXA Burst Mode and Kamen Rider IXA Safe Mode. Since I got those, my latest addiction for most of the 2010 year has been Ultraman and Kamen Rider candy toy finger puppets.

Crazy month so far, what with the new tools behind the scenes and the free year of Candy Toys promotion. Sadly a quick check with Mr. S confirms that no one has participated yet...


Well that's going to change, because Bandai has updated their Candy Toy website with new items that not only are eligible for the promotion, but are all but guaranteed to show up at CSToys!

What you are looking at is the new Candy Toy Gosei Wonder and continuing what I said in the title... is that is it a different color or what? Accompanying Candy Toy Gosei Wonder will be the Candy Toy Mystic Brothers. More pictures when you read more.

The Candy Toy Report Presents: New Candy Toys for a Year Promotion!

Hello Everybody! okniwy here with a big announcement!

I've teamed up with Mr. S, the big man himself, to bring you an exclusive promotion!

Bandai Candy Toys is having a contest right now. Top prize is a year of free Candy toys! But so many of us don't live in Japan. So how exactly does this affect us? Well, when you buy certain Candy Toys, they will have a special stamp. A number of stamps make one entry into the contests. We can't use them though, so that's where this promotion comes in.

When you buy Eligible Candy Toys from CSToys, you may elect to have the stamp cut from the box.
But what exactly are the details?

The Details

• Having your stamps cut out is completely optional, you don't have to do it.
  
• There are three prize groups :

1. 3900 prizes of 1000yen prepaid cards: 3 points per entry
   
2. 1000 prizes of Christmas cakes: 5 points per entry
   
3. 100 prizes of ONE YEAR OF FREE CANDY TOYS: 12 points per entry
   

• Only certain Candy Toys are eligible. These include:

1. Minipla GoseiGround. Each box has a Stamp for 3 points, so a single set is 12 points.
2. Sound Gosei Headders EX. Each one is 3.5 points, all 5 make 18.5 points.
3. HDM RX riders
4. Minipla Tensou Gattai GoseiWonder. All the boxes are 3 points, so Goseiwonder is 6, Mystic Brothers is 3, and GoseiGreat can be 12, if you ask for the new ones!
5. Sound Gaia Memory End: Rider Special
6. HDM Double Riders
7. And more will be added to this list every Candy Toy Report!

• The deadlines are Sept. 30 and Nov. 30
• This is a prize drawing, the more entries we put in, the more chances we have to win.
  
• We can place as many entries as we can into the drawing.
• The CSPrincess Akira will be helping by filling out the entries, this will be shown on camera at some point.
  
• Points will be allocated towards free Candy Toys first, then any excess under 12 points will be put towards the lesser prizes.
  
• If CSToys does win a year of free Candy Toys, Mr. S will keep the prizes, and they will be used for video demos. This means that the Toys that would be taken from the first shipment of a new Candy Toy to demo would instead be sold with the rest of the shipment. The free Toys will Not be sent to anyone (At least until they are sold at the demo toy price months later.)
  
• Also if CSToys wins, they will be sent a listing of Candy Toys to be sent each month. Mr. S. will attempt to select ones that do not need assembly and would be demoed on the show anyway, such as the OOO Medals.
• For participating, customers will receive a small prize, such as a Goseiger sticker card.

Candy Toy Report ~June Edition~

Hello Everybody! okniwy here!

Is it the 20th yet? No. Did Bandai's candy toy website update anyway? Yes! Wait... Oh! This is a new Blog! That's good. Good. So, let's get down to bisiness and have a look at the new stuff.



Maximum Super-union Revolcarry


Hey look! The Revolcarr... Wait. They did this one before. It doesn't claim to be a re-release, what's different? hold on, it that AccelGunner in the first kit? With... Shoutaro? Indeed, while the parts to the Revolcarry (and three out of the four vehicles) are identical to the first edition, all the figures and the HardBoilder in normal mode have been replace by new additions.

• As stated, Set A now comes with AccelGunner and Shoutaro "Halfboiled" Hidari
• Set B now comes with CycloneJoker Extreme. (Prismy...)
• Set C comes with Raito "Phillip" Sonozaki.(Is that even a spoiler?)
• And set D comes with... Trial Accel. Like he needs a bike.

Remember, the Revolcarry is a beast even when shrunk down and split into four, so each set will retail for ¥ 399 after tax. Out in Japan late July.

Candy Toy Report ~Introduction Edition~

Candy Toy enthusiast okniwy (with a lower case "o") here!  This will be the new home of my monthly report on new Bandai candy toys.

You don't know what I'm talking about.

Every Month around the 20th Bandai Candy Toys website updates with new releases, which I promptly bring to the attention of the  CS Toys Live viewers. I understand that it's nowhere near the 20th, but we need to get properly acquainted! So here is the most recent releases until then.

Gosei Machine NEO (Gosei Grand assortment)



... This wasn't there last time.

It's okay, the site does this. they put stuff up in between updates. Here we have the non-transforming Gosei Machines for Goseiknight. It retails for ¥ 210 after tax. Still, not the Minipla, so don't get excited yet.

Goseiger Watergun



What in the? I don't even... Another new one, retails for ¥ 315 after tax.

Goseiger Weapons



Candy Toy versions for the Leon Cellular, Leon Rlaser and Gosei Mic. This is the good stuff.

• The Leon Cellular comes with the candy toy scaled "GoseiCard Plates" for GoseiKnight's Change Card and Vulcan Headder's Summon Card. These can be slotted into the Leon Cellular.


• The Leon Rlaser comes with a Minipla scale Vulcan Headder and two plastic projectiles. It has a transformation and a shooting gimmick, plus it can combine with the Leon Cellular to make the Dynamic Leon Rlaser.


• The Gosei Mic comes with a Minipla scale King Voice Headder. It also has a special gimmick; a motion sensitive light that flashes when you tap the side.

They each retail for ¥ 315 after tax.

Wow, so much new stuff. I didn't need to redo anything! Until the 20th then.
