Last time I talked about Super Sentai's trend toward cutesy, and it got people talking and nodding. This time, I'll tell you why I like it just fine.

Super Robot Chogokin Shinken-oh Scan

A new scan just surfaced a day ago on the Samurai Sentai Shinkenger Facebook Fan page and it gives us a good look at the beloved Shinken-oh. Adding to the new line announced back in spring 2010 and we're already hitting winter! The figures are not as large as their true Chogokin counterparts, but they size up to a more manageable height of 140 mm or 5 inches for those of you in the US. It's first live appearance to the public debuted at the Tamashii Festival 2010 event, showcasing its beauty and radiance. Its official release date is yet to be revealed but we are predicting mid-2011.

Why a Recurring Cast for Power Rangers Now Makes Sense

For many years, Power Rangers fans have wished for the brand to return to its original owner, Saban. But for a stretch of time just as long, it seemed like this would never happen. It was just one more idle fantasy, one more way to make Power Rangers "good again" that only a world more perfect than ours was capable of.

The ability to follow the lives of one single social circle as it, and its components, grew and changed over a number of years is an appeal unique to the three seasons of the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. For many Power Rangers fans watching from day one, this high school soap opera element was every bit as interesting as the monsters, robots and martial arts action. It is one of the few pieces of the original series' winning formula that later entries have not attempted to replicate, favoring the Super Sentai model of making each season a distinct and self-contained storyline.

According to a post by Ryoutarou of RangerBoard, we may be getting a Shinkenger Mini-Series in 2011...

So this is interesting, found it while making rounds on Japanese sites. The image itself isn't purported to be official, the information is.

Kamen Rider The Movie W/Goseiger peaks 3rd opening week

Oh man am I late with this news, nearly a month difference but I was busy back then. I had this article ready back in August and it just slipped away. Anyways here's the news.

Kamen Rider W Forever double billed with Goseiger peaked at third on their opening week. With Toy Story 3 dominating the box offices in the top spot in Japan. A Kamen Rider & a Goseiger VS Buzz & Woody? Apparently Buzz and Woody would beat them any day with this news. Why? Well with Toy Story 3 a few weeks in they still managed to squeeze out nearly 5 million dollars but to be exact $4,923,436. W & Goseiger grossed $3,874,794 basically nearly 4 million dollars. If you compare this data with each part of the Kamen Rider Den O Movie Trilogy back a few months ago, the duo did much better in profits. However as for ranking every part of the Den O Trilogy ranked second on their opening weeks. That's all folks, we'll see movie stats next time when Movie Taisen 2011 hits theatres this December.

New Power Rangers Site Launches!

No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you! You read the title right, Saban Brands has Relaunched the new and improved (on some parts) Power Rangers site! It has a very similar feel to the Disney site, but much improved in a lot of areas.

Check the site for all the awesome features including: Ranger bios, games, downloads, and even the first episode of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, "Day of the Dumpster."

Quick preview of Dice-O Set 5

Recently the official Dice-O site was updated with some info about the upcoming set 5 of Dice, including a 'Warning' mark when you first logged on, that 'warns' you that the next set is coming. It then goes on to show Buredoran and some Biibi. We also get a sneak preview of some of the new things being included this time around. In addition to Buredoran and the Biibi, the first villains, we also get...

[RUMOR] Goukaiger- Copyrights

Found these a little while ago. The copyright numbers go from 59981 to 6002, pretty much meaing these are the real deal. I personally checked if all the copyrights are listed on IPDL, and they are. Meaning, unless there is a drastic change by Toei, Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger is our likely title for next year's sentai.

As always, please take with a grain of salt.

DX Gosei Ultimate

Take a good look at it guys, you've seen the show scans of it and now here is the toy version. Anyway the DX Gosei Ultimate is set to hit store shelves on October 2nd, 2010 and will be packaged with the miracle headers. October 2nd falls on a Saturday so expect to see the toy to arrive at CSToys HQ on Friday's show.

This name just popped up on 2ch:

Goukai means "heart, freespirited, heroic". But it can also mean "The Ocean of Karma." It's also possible the word "Kai" or shell has something to do with the name.

If we switch the "G" to a "K", then we get the word Koukai, or "High Seas". DaiKoukai was the rumored name for DaiVoyager at one point.


This does not displace any anniversary rumors, but it does give us our first concrete motif rumor.

PLEASE- take this with a grain of salt! like all othe rumors. Till we get an actual picture of the copyright for this title, no one should take it as anything more than a rumor. later:)


UPDATE!!

-Another rumor popped up connecting the pirate rumor to the anniversary rumor:

-The Henshin Device will indeed be a belt

-The rangers can transform into past rangers by placing FIGURES of them into their belt.

The poster of this info suggests that the rangers don't actually travel at sea (at least to any extent of time), but act more like Diend in Decade- going from world to world/land to land in a Pirate-fashion, meeting up with old heroes.

Past rumors have indicated that old red rangers will take part in the show, with the original actors for most, if not all of them.

I'm starting to get excited guys:) But please, take everything with a GRAIN OF SALT. More info soon.
